Terms of Service

Welcome to Sprouts. By using this app, you agree to these terms. We’ve kept them short and plain.

Who we are

Sprouts is a small app for logging the daily rhythms of caring for a baby — feeds, naps, diapers, walks, notes. We refer to ourselves as “we” or “Sprouts” below. You can reach us at sprout-support@googlegroups.com.

Your account

You sign in with Apple or Google. You’re responsible for keeping access to that account secure. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Sprouts is built for parents and caregivers — the children whose information you log are not themselves users of the app.

Your family

Sprouts lets you invite other caregivers into a shared family log using a one-time invite code. Anyone in your family can read, add, edit, and delete logs about your child. Only invite people you trust with that information.

What you put in

You own the content you record — your child’s name, birth date, log entries, and any notes you add. By using Sprouts you give us permission to store and display that content to you and to other members of your family, as needed to run the app.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Sprouts to harass anyone, upload content that isn’t yours to share, attempt to break or probe the service, or use it for anything illegal. We may suspend or close accounts that do.

No medical advice

Sprouts is a logbook, not a doctor. Nothing in the app is medical advice. If you have concerns about your child’s health, talk to a pediatrician.

Availability and changes

We do our best to keep Sprouts running, but we can’t promise it’ll always be available, free of bugs, or unchanged. Features may come and go. We’ll give notice before any change that meaningfully reduces what you can do with data you’ve already saved.

Ending your use

You can stop using Sprouts at any time, leave your family from Settings, and request deletion of your account by emailing sprout-support@googlegroups.com. We can suspend access for violations of these terms.

Liability

Sprouts is provided as-is. To the extent allowed by law, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential damages from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you’ve paid us in the past 12 months (which, for now, is zero).

Changes to these terms

If we update these terms, we’ll change the effective date above and surface the update in-app the next time you open Sprouts. Continued use means you accept the update.
